When I try to run the LH_VERIFY utility, AREV locks up on me. I can the enter volume name and file names into the window from the F2 popup lists, but when I go into the third field to specify report type the application locks up. I then have to use the Windows NT Task Manager to terminate it, and log out to clear the server connections. We are running AREV 2.12 under Windows NT 4 (with service pack 3) off a Novell 4.11 server (w/ support pack v6) and version 1.5 of the AREV NLM. In all other respects AREV seems to run fine under the configuration. NT I've run the verify utility before under this setup. Does anyone have any suggestions?

So, this is just on the entry screen, not when actually running?

Yes, just entering the volume, filename, and option would cause the entry screen to freeze, locking up the DOS session. I ran LH_Verify from TCL - LH_VERIFY DATAVOL (F -, and it worked fine. Now the entry screen is working again. Wierd? The only thing I can figure is that installing the new netware support pack caused some temporary glitch – or perhaps it's NT's DOS sessions.

Thanks,

Tom
