Supposing I had a AREV Application that was installed on a Server running with the AREV NLM. The server was running Netware 4.1x configured for 100 licenses. My LAN conections are mostly 10Mb (some on shared hubs some right into a switch) and the average # of users to the application was 40+.

I decided to expand my business and installed a WAN for the remote offices. The connection to the home office was on a 384k frame relay cloud with the remote offices at 56k pipes. The remote offices might have 6 to 15 users each.

What would be the most efficient way of deploying connectivity to the AREV app. for the remote offices to get the best (most LAN type) response time.

Increase bandwidth? Install Citrix winframe or winview? PCAnywhere machines? (yuck) run the app. on each server and batch update at night?

All of these options have a good dollar value attached to them that would like to be avoided. Any suggestions? Ideas? Obviously upgrading the platform is in the plan but not for a year.

I wanted to post this to the newsgroup but only have access via dejanews from this seat and could not find comp.database.rev?!

Thanks
