Hi,

I am having a problem an I hope someone can help me. I run a Network with approx 9 w/s and AREV REL 2.1 as our main database.

Last thursday, my cross reference indexing for my main file just decided not to work. It would seem, (and this is where it get's weird) that the indexes are being rebuilt but it stops alphabeticaly around the letters "MO" For example, doing a search for Dan Miller would work fine but if I would search for John Morse, it would come up as no records found. (thus no indexes were created for this name)

Has anyone come accross this befor and how did you fix the problem

Could it have died due to space problems? Do you know how full the server/PC was when it all stopped? If it hits the wall at the same point each time, the indexes will be complete at the same point. Thanks for the reply but it does not help my problem. I have over 2GB

free on my server's volume and about 100 MB free on my workstation. The problem has not subsided. Could the size of the records have anything to do with it? My file has about 100 dictionary feilds.
