Are you sure they are beginning with "REV" and not just "R"? They look very similar to legitimate temporary files that AREV creates. For instance:

Are all from one of our AREV application directories. I believe these are created when viewing R/List statement on-screen. Ideally these should be auto-cleaned up by AREV but many things can prevent that from happening.
