What Server OS does everyone recommend? (Networking Products)

This is kind of a broad question, but what file server OS does anyone recommend using? Currently, the only applications we use are Arev 3.12 and Telemagic. Run this on Novell 3.2. I can't get Arev 3.12 to run with XP workstations, and we will probably replace Arev within the next year or two with some generic ERP system (that part is out of my hands). We will replace Telemagic with Act. We may or may not decide to put Mas90 on our Network (the comptroller is very freaky about doing that). My question is, what file server OS would everyone recommend? We have a Lan here at our office with about 10 users, and a Lan at our plant with about 20 users. We are connected via Wan. Would MS Server 2003 work? If so, what Revelation product(s) would I need to buy to get Arev to work on it, knowing that the workstations attaching to the server would be Win98, Win2k, and WinXP.

Probably because you havnt got the CONFIG.NT set up right (search this forum for solution).
The way forward is either
- Win2003 - which works, likewise LH sevices. But performance might not be same as Novell 3.12 (but that is now history)
- Linux in various flavours incl Novell.
I might opt for Win2003 on a xeon based mb.
