The 2 failed , which give me an error "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

Those solutions may help. The rules for data execution prevention (DEP) mean that practices which were accepted when OI7.21 was created are flagged by .Net which has tighter security rules. RTI made many changes in the 8.x series to remove DEP issues, and in oi 9.3 we offer netOI, a native .Net component that you can use in your VB.Net project to call OI from asp.net. You should think about moving from Xrev.dll and OI 7.21 to OI 9.3 netOI, when oi 9.3 ships.

If you have tried all the fixes and none work, I suggest getting an eval version of 9.21 or a beta of 9.3, see if they work. If it works with the latest versions, then I think that proves that the DEP features are your problem. Most of the DEP problems in 7.2.1 are related to the RCL dll. Using a newer network driver, for example UD 4.x might fix the problem. If that does not work, then you will either need to use an older windows version or a newer revelation version.
