Problems with NLM & NT4 Workstation (Networking Products)

I have a problem with a client trying to connect to OpenInsight from a Novell 4.11 Server with NT4 (SP3) workstation.
Whenever they try to log in, they get the following message:
Filing system installation failed.(REPOS_BFS -- FS477)OpenEngine cannot continueWe have tried Novell Client for NT 4.5 and Novell IntranetWare Client but with no success.
Changing the IPX frame types (to Ethernet 802.3) also had no effect.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
BTW: if you have ServerOnly=1 in the RevParam files and the NLM or NT Service, can you then give users only read access to RevXXXXX files?
(the file permissions for the problem above are full read, write, edit , delete etc…everything but Supervisor. Is this necessary?)

Haven't tried OI with thew Client 4.5, but it's no good with ARev at all. Completely blows away the TSR and does some really strange things. Using 4.3 gave no problems.
Don't think the NLM has it, but the NPP has a ReadOnly=1 param which will do what you need. It also has the nice feature of letting you run off CD ROMS and things like that.

Thanks Aaron!
I'll give that a try.

Chris,
If your're still having problems:
1) Did your client just install the NLM, and then the error started to show?2) Did your client simply copy the NLM's to the server or properly install them? These are common reasons for FS477 errors.

Hi Stephen
The NLM was upgraded from version 1.06 to 1.5 through the proper install.

Hi there!
just a quickie.. did you install the IW clients straight on to NT? without an previous clients being there? If you did, you might want to do this. Remove them! then install the standard Microsoft Netware client, then install the 4.x client on top. we've found this works for FS errors with Oinsight. don't ask me how, but it seems to need a previous MS client connection, then upgrade to Novell client.
hope this helps.
Mark.
