We have been testing both OpenInsight and Advanced Revelation on the Windows XP Beta. At first blush, both applications run successfully. We have tested them on a stand alone XP machine as well as on an NT 4.0 sp6a server, using the Revelation Nt/2000 Service. We are currently running benchmark tests which will be released once they are completed.

Unfortunately, due to the well known troubles between Microsoft and Novell products, we have not been able to confirm if it works on a Netware Server. The current Novell client 32 version 4.8 is not for Windows XP and the Novell recommended work-around is not always successful. Once we have a viable client, we will test and let you know of the result.

One interesting thing to point out- In the application that we tested Arev on, Windows XP supported expanded memory. We are testing to see if this is a Workstation specific phenomenon, as seems to be the case with Windows ME, or it is indeed supported. As more information is known, we will update the community.
