Can someone please confirm that the Windows 2000 Service, reporting itself as version 2.0.0.0, is the same as the NT Service v1.5 ?

The documentation supplied with the package was for Windows 2000 service version 1.5. It did not perform on an NT4 server as expected, according to the documentation.

I had to abort an installation yesterday because I couldn't get the service to play ball and would just like to get my starting point fixed.
