Invisible table problem (OpenInsight Specific)

I applied an upgrade to a customer's system, but the upgrade did not complete successfully. Everything copied over except four tables. I tried to recreate the tables manually in Table Builder, but when I try to save them, it says that they already exist. But I can't load them in Table Builder or in Database Manager. I'm thinking that my upgrade process began creating the tables, but did not finish succesfully. Where would these "phantom" table entries be and how do I get rid of them?

Mark,
Did you look in your Revmedia file to see what references it has to your files? Look for the DICT files, TEMP.DICT files…etc. Let me know what you find.
Good luck…

It may be that the references are in the REVMEDIA file as Blaise sugests or you may check in the .DBT file (swap appname for the name of your application and look in the OINSIGHT directory) for the references. The .DBT file acts as a 'fast attach' snapshot of all attached files as of the last time you saved the application definition (e.g. before the upgrade).

I have had the same problem on numerous occasions.
I have had the need to create a table of the same name in another application below the inhetitance chain and have been disallowed, even though it does not exist.
I have found the best solution is to do an attach and copy table to create the new table.
I hope this helps.

Mark,
It sounds like the table is there but not attached. Use List_Volume to check.
