Hangups During Initialization (AREV Specific)

Four of the 35 machines on my network are HP Vector machines with 95c.
The users with these 4 machines are constantly experiencing problems when trying to open Advanced Revelation 3.12. When they double click the icon for the shortcut the program looks as though it is going to run but then immediately locks up. If they press ctrl alt delete to end task the program that is not responding is oldwinapp. If they end task the initialization screen for Arev closes but then the whole machine is locked up. Sometimes it may take as many as 3 or 4 reboots before they can get Arev to run. Has anyone else experienced this problem and or have a solution. It has never happened on any of the other machines except one. The rest of the machines are running 95b

Try
(a) disabling expanded memory (could be a clash between AREV's frame address and something on the HPs
(b) checking all comspec= environment settings point to
c:\command.com
© there is no copy of command.com in the revboot path.

Are you issuing any net use commands on startup?
