I am using the char event on a dropdown type combo box so that when a user types in a particular character / hot key then a popup is displayed that they can select from. The selected entry is then added to the combo entry and focus returned to the control.

However, I would like the cursor to be at the end of the text so the user can carry on typing, and for the text to be 'un-highlighted' so that typing won't remove what is there and replace it,

Any ideas anyone ??
