To all,

Maybe someone would care to share some better techniques for changing tab orders in a Tabbed Form. I decided to redo some Tab forms using the "newer" AUTOTAB approach. I made an existing two page form into a three page one. Changing Tab order is very cumbersome (all that clicking) and the 'visual' mess one sees after page one. Holy macro! I see that other have also seen this problem (At first, I thought it was something I did Symmetry Info[/url]

Ray,

I agree wholeheartedly - re-tabbing tabbed forms is a right pain. I have got to the stage if moving only the odd control to edit the WinExe in system editor, not too difficult - just need to remember to change the 'next' control as well to point to the new 'previous' control.

Perhaps a few more agreements here might make a point !!

Don and Mike,

Thanks for the pointer. I actually saw it earlier in my search and tried it at the time, but couldn't get it to work.

I tried again on something else (didn't want to seriously mess up a form to test something that didn't work earlier for me ) after your response. It is better. I must not have click or shift something when I tried it earlier.

Anyone care to comment on the failure of TEST RUNning a Form which require the closing of the Form Designer or OI? Is this state of nature normal for OI? I mentioned earlier that I am running under NT and that sometimes I may have to close other programs as well before I can Test Run a form.

Thanks,
