SDP question (OpenInsight 32-bit Specific)

We have a runtime application that is normally strictly single-user. We have just implemented a situation where one table is shared by 2 users (every other table in the app is still single user). Since it is normally single user, the app is always installed on the user's workstation.
Now that there are two users who will share a single table, what if anything do we need in terms of SDP's for the two users to share the single table?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Andy,
You would simply need to get a 3-user SDP.

If we have two run times accessing the one file which run time would we apply the SDP to? Both run times? Just one of the run times?

That's a good question and I'll defer to Revelation for an official response. But I'm fairly certain that the answer to the question will depend on a couple of things: 1.) Are the serial numbers of the engines the same, and 2.) Are you running a network product (e.g. Revelation Service)?
We've run into situations where a client needed to run multiple runtimes on the same server to support different business units. Since it was on the same server they only needed one Revelation Service. However, the Service tracks users based on the serial number of the engine. So even though each engine had a legitimate 5 users, the Service would only allow a maximum of 5 users at any time to log in at any one time.
We resolved this by making sure each serial number was unique.
From a license point of view, no single user application should be running on a network. So if you have two single-user applications or even one single-user and one multi-user, then IMO that would be a license violation. Therefore, I think you are required to apply an SDP to both copies.

Don,
The serial numbers of the engines are the same and we are not running a network product.
Because it normally a single user system we always install everything on the client workstation. It appears that, because we have two installations of OI (one on each workstation), we need to have two 3 user SPD's. If we had OI installed on the server and let the two users share it, we would need only one 3 user SDP. Is this your interpretation?
On a separate note, how does one go about upgrading the installations to new version of OI once the SDP's have been applied? Clearly the engine is changed on a new release. Do you just run the OI upgrade against the run time?
Thanks for your help.
