Hi All,

 newbie question # 1
I'm a newbie to OI. Just purchased OI 9.1 and have some questions that I generated going thru documentation, the website and just trying some things.
I will post each as a new topic, so that they can be treated individually.
TIA for helping with your ideas, suggestions and comments.
Running OI 9.1, on a win xp client. The server is a windows 2000 server box, running Unidata, and an application called Manage 2000.
I see there is a application for converting green screens to something in between green screen and OI, called CTO. This converter appears to work by making changes to existing source code, by adding hooks into the code. My system, Manage 2000, creates screens using a 'screen.build' process, which in turn creates compiled code, for which the siurce is deleted. Thus no source code to put hooks into. This system works with users running a custom telnet application, in which the green screens are displayed.
Is there anyone who has worked with really dumb applcication like ours, where you somehow embedded the telnet session into an OI application, so that users can work with both old green screens, and new OI forms, in a single application?

thanx,

ron
