Page Numbers on VIP Reports. Is it possible to get page numbers to break at the main Grouping for a report. It's useless to have page numbers that run through a Grouped Report and don't break. Sorting the output is impossible ?

My attempts included querying the data object for a RowCount of each group then creating a calculated column that I could use in a custom report function to reset the page count after each group break.

The only workaround I have found is to pump the data using DX to Access where I used Crystal Reports, or create a report using Crystal and call it from ViP using OLE automation (see posting 'Re: Launch Access Report from ViP' 02/19/98)
