We are having a problem with printing a window using the Alt-P function. The resulting print job prints hundreds of blank pages after the window.

These is more than one user on different PC's having the problem and the problem began with a switch to Windows 95 on the desktops, although we switched back to Windows 3.11 and the problem did not go away.

Capturing the print to a file shows that the end of the print job is packed with Carriage Control/ Line Feed chars (ASCII chars 13 and 10), over and over. One particular print file had 65,455 extra CR/LF combinations after the last print line.

Could the window, you are printing from, be damaged?

Take a look at it in the editor.

I saw a few times suddenly damaged windows in an AREV application.

If you want me to look at it please copy it to DOS and email it to me on Mecomp@xs4all.nl
