(I tried creating the the app on an copy of OI and inherite it from the app I want to copy from…but OI's copy facility wont copy the events when the form is copied…you have to do each one…that is sort of ok but, the windows doesnt show enough of the event name

I have never successfully made COPYFORM work. It doesn't get all the events and menu items. What I did was to make my second app inherit from the one I want to copy from. Then in the second app, I open the form from the first app in Form Designer and use Save As in the second app. This seems to work. PITA
