Hello all:
Improvisations has just opened up a mailing list discussion group about system development using Arev; specifically HR-Payroll Systems such as HR-1, Ensemble, Repertoire, etc. Formed originally to teach and share R/Basic coding techniques to our group.
You can go to www.egroups.com to view the messages online, subscribe,
unsubscribe and change many preferences. You can also subscribe by sending a blank email to arev-fans-subscribe@egroups.com
The idea is to focus on programming issues. We originally set it up for our group to share ideas and ask questions of each other. Then it was decided to open it up to anyone. It's not been too active yet, but I expect it to become more so over the next few months.

Please note that eGroups also has a web interface. You can subscribe by simply pushing the subscribe button at http://www.egroups.com/list/arev-fans/
I've been using egroups for a while and really like some of the features:
* e-mail or web interface
* single or digest emails
* ability to include attachments
etc. It will be interesting to see how this new list develops.

I agree, obviously . Egroups is a great place. I spent a day researching all the list managers I could find and nothing came close. Hope to see you there!
