While attempting to import several RevG files into AREV 3.12, one of

the files failed. It generated the following error message (W107) - The

source row "" could not be read from the "SYSALIAS" table. This table is

fully function in the RevG environment, it has no null record ids, and

the dictionary seems to work fine. The number of records in the file

is approx. 4600.

Are you attaching the RTP52 volume containing the REVG files from within Arev?. If so, then my experiance suggests that DICT.MFS will modify the dictionaries in such a way as to make them inoperable from within RevG. Better to make a copy of the volume and attach that.

The null record reported in the error message could be in the dictionary rather than the data portion of the RevG file.

I still don't know what caused the problem, but I was

to resolve it by using the RECREATE-FILE in REVG. This

forced RevG to read the entire database(data and dictionary)

and re-save it. When I tried to import the new RevG

database, it worked without incident.
