Hi All,
I have just installed the trial RPM on OpenSUSE 10.1. When I try to run oinsight I get the following error:
"/opt/openinsight/bin/oinsight.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
libpthread.so.0 is in /lib on my system and I've tried symlinking it to /usr/lib and the various lib directories under /opt/openinsight
Is anybody running Openinsight on SUSE and perhaps knows what lib directory oinsight is looking in.
I have heard many good things about Openinsight but I must get it to run on Linux If we're going to use it.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Mark

OpenInsight for Linux has a problem with some recent Linux Kernels
OIL is currently compiled using MAINWIN4 libraries. We need to recompile with Mainwin 5, expect that to solve the issue. The plan is to work on OIL after 8.0 settles down, probably June. For the moment Debina cores like Ubuntu and Linspire, or Xandros ( formerly Corel Linux) will run OoenInsight for Linux
