Assuming you really mean this (and data integrity isn't an issue for you or your clients) then you can do this by individually painting the windows and choosing Database, Options, No Locking.

Have you looked for GFE's?

Is there custom code (scripts, procedure "basic+", lurking about).

Is there any networking conflicts, Netware client etc.

Just a few things I've run into before.
