I am using Revelation 2.12……but I have an old version 1.16 out there from one of my field offices just for archival reasons only……
DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS???? THANKS !
I am using IPX32bit Etherexpress (TM) PRO /100 ISA ADAPTER drivers with AREV 2.12, NLM and Windows 95.
The 2 PC's that use these drivers work with AREV 1.16, the AREV bump drivers for Advanced Netware under AREV 2.12 but will not work with the AREV bump drivers for IPX/Advanced Netware under AREV 2.12…………I set the frame type so it is not AUTO….
Any ideas why this is occurring?????

To use the NLM you must have arev 2.03 or higher. Is this copy(1.16) using the same revelation data as the other ones(2.12). If it is you should upgrade so that both are using the nlm. Which version of arev is getting the error msg fs461.

Mina-
WHat exactly is your setup?? As Dave said, the NLM can only be used with arev 2.03 and above. So For a moment I'm ignoring whatever may be going on with the AREV 1.16 because they aren't in the equation with the other machines.
Are the machines that log in to AREV 2.12 getting the FS461??

Sorry if I am not clear ….
I am using AREV Version 2.12……. with the AREV NLM…….. with
Windows 95.
I am using IPX32bit Etherexpress (TM) PRO /100 ISA ADAPTER drivers on a few PC's…..they do not work. Every other PC and ethernet drivers are fine.
I have tested an old copy of AREV 2.12 (with the NLM installed) with the BUMP-AREV drivers Advanced Netware (previous drivers prior to NLM). this works fine.
On my production files of AREV 2.12 (with the NLM installed) with the BUMP-AREV drivers IPX/Advanced Netware (drivers required for the NLM). these two PC's do not work. BUT everyone else does.
Any ideas??? I am having trouble with this one…. It seems that the changes made for the BUMP-AREV drivers have caused this to be a problem.

Mina,
To use the NLM you must use the ipx/advanced network driver. This is the only driver that will work with the NLM. Are the ones that are not using it gettign this error? Are you using any versions of Arev lower thatn 2.03?

Well, our tech group ended up replacing the ISA ethernet boards ….
Now everything is fine. I kept changing the paramters to the board and could never get it to work. So I am glad they changed the boards and now it is fine.
Thanks for all your help….!!!
