Hi,

Just installed an additional new hard disk in my workstation. I then moved various OI apps to this hard disk. Whenever I try to run any application I get the following:

OINSIGHT executed an invalid instruction in

module IMGMAN11.DLL at 0001:00006a34.

I've tried re-installing OI from scratch but I get the same problem. All EXE's (Oengine, TMU, DMW, Reporter, etc.) give some invalid instruction problem.

OI applications still residing on other drives work normally. Other windows applications and AREV application on this new drive appear to work fine.

Should I assume there is a problem with my new drive or is something quirky with OI going on here?

Thanks,

I pulled off my CD-ROM (which was running as a slave to my new drive) and everything seems to be working fine now. Evidently my older model CD-ROM (6X) isn't running Mode 4 and this conflicted with my hard drive. Didn't know this could create problems but there it is. At least new CD-ROMs go as cheap as $40-$50 these days…
