Is it possible to change the Location of an Application using AREV 3.12?

The Application is currently defined to use a subdirectory under REVBOOT as the Location or Volume name. This is where the VOC, and SYS* tables reside for the application. We would like to change the name of the subdirectory (for political reasons).

I have tried to use the sysprog account with Options-Applications to change the Location, then RENDIR to rename the directory. When I start the application, it is unable to find the VOC table.

I have also tried to Define a Volume using the Old subdirectory name, specifying the New subdirectory name as the Location of Data and Control files. This time I did not change the Application Location. The application could not find the New Directory 'link' in DATAVOL.

I need to know if this is possible, or not. It seems to me that it should be 'doable'. Thanks.

You could have an attach image on the account. That could cause tbis. You could also have something that is hardcoded to look for a specific path.
