We have a client who wants to use NT Workstation as a mini server for about 3 to 5 workstations running Win 98. Assuming that they get the network to work, is there a problem with Arev + NPP on this configuration. Also, will a 5 user Arev + NPP work on Win 98 peer to peer? If so, are there any problems?

Thanks Jim

Don't even think of using non-dedicated NT mode (NT in a peer-to-peer environment). The local drive C of the server is not seen as a networked resource and no locking will be performed. I have used AREV and the NPP in a small Windows95 environment without any problems. The Sharing parameters need to be setup correctly.
