PDISK "is not a valid file name!" error message. (AREV Specific)

Have a client running RevG who is having problems using PDISK in one of their accounts (PDISK works fine in 3 other accounts on the same system). When attempting to issue any PDISK ("PDISK PRN", "PDISK LPT1", "PDISK C:\CONFIG.SYS", etc., etc.) command the system responds with: " is an invalid file name" (without the quotes).
Running just PDISK does get the prompt "Enter pathname to DOS file for printer redirection? ".
Environment: Windows 98; Attempted fix: copied VERBS $PDISK and $SETPTR from working system - problem not solved. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe a "sharing" conflict? Try to use the COPYROW command to copy a row from a file to DOS using the exact same path. If the COPYROW works then i would think there is a problem with PDISK. If the COPYROW fails… then i would think it is a hardware or sharing problem.

Check the VOC entry for PDISK for the dodgy account. Also double check nothing in SYSOBJ file as it has priority over VERBS file from memory.
