Strange printing behavior (OpenInsight 16-Bit Specific)

I have a client that recently purchased a Sharp AL-M208 office document center (combo printer, copier, fax w/parallel interface). The desktop is Win2K Pro. They can print fine from normal windows stuff outside OI and just fine under OIPI. However, printing from OR_VIEW causes the print to be in a 1.5" x 2" square in the top left corner in teeny-tiny print. Their vendor says that it is a problem with our app since it prints the Printer Test page just fine.
Any suggestions ??

I cannot remember what it was exactly, but I think it was a printer driver issue. Seeing as its is Friday, I will open a bottle of wine and let the old grey matter process this in the background, and see what I can remember.
What printer driver are you using, presumably the same as the printer.
I would try a different driver, and see if that makes a difference.
Also, I would try reducing the resolution and try this.
Please advise results.

I never have, but I second the idea .. as W.C. Fields once said "Take the juice of a dry-martini and call me in the morning".

They are using a PCL-5e driver that comes with the box. They also have a PCL-6 driver.

I have suggested that they try again.

I remember the bug in the HP2100N ROM. Took it from 1200 dpi to 300 dpi and a lot of problems went away.
Have a good weekend and thanks.

Tried drinking to understand the problem but it did not help.
Aha PCL5e versus PCL6.
Good place to start looking.
I have seen lots of problems with these drivers, when they first came out. Suggest PCL6 is used, at least that is what I use with my HP2100.
I have seen problems though when trying to use HPLJ4 drivers once the 2100 drivers are install, but this is another story.
