I have a client with a Netware 5.0 server, running Arev on the local LAN quite happily using the NLM v5.0.

However, if he tries to login to the server from a remote site across the WAN, from a Win95 w/station using Client 32 v3.1, he gets an FS461 message (Linear Hash Client/Server. - Get Local Target Error.) during the logon process, and Arev will not continue.

I have advised him to try Client 32 v2.2, but would welcome any other suggestions.

Tim,

First two things I would look at (other than the client version) are:

1. Is the client using IPX over the WAN?

2. Is the client mapping the drive where AREV is stored to a specific letter?
