Data Warehousing - NT Server (OpenInsight Specific)

I'm trying to run a data warehousing routine on an NT Server, SP 4 I believe, and cannot get a connection to the database.
The database is a SQL Server 6.5 database running on the same server. For some reason, I cannot use a straight SQL Server connection, and must use an ODBC connection. I have set up the ODBC DSN the same as it is on my Win 95 box, edited the ODBC.INI file so that it is "thunked", but still cannot get a connection. The DSN works correctly when tested under the ODBC manager.
When I create the connection entity, I set the type as ODBC. When I choose the DSN name, the DSN I created appears in the options box, so OI is seeing the DSN. However, when I open a Query Window to test my connection, I get the error message "Unable to connect to ."
I have verified that everything on the server is set the same as on the 95 workstations, and am at my wits end.
I have got to get this warehousing finished ASAP, so any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Matt,
Try taking a look at this step-by-step SQL 7.0 and OI 3.7 walkthrough on setting up and performing Data Warehousing. You might be missing some of the .dll's.
Best of luck with that deadline.

Stephen,
Actually, it looks like it might be a problem with SP5, and the ODBC drivers it installs.
I tried the same process on another NT server, running SP4, and everything works like a dream.
Is RevTech aware of any issues running Data Warehousing on SP5?
