On 9/18/98, that's a month and half ago, Chris from RTI indicated that they were researching the incompatibility between the AREV NLM and Client32 v2.5. Nothing has been reported back to this forum yet that I have been able to locate. Nor, is anything in the Knowledge Base.

Has anyone heard from RTI about an upcoming solution to this problem?

We have encountered some problems running ARev under Novell Intranetware Client 2.5. There will be a Knowledge Base article documenting the workaround posted to our website in the near future. At this point we do recommend using version 2.2 of Novell's Client 32.

If you are in a situation where you have to use version 2.5 of the client, use one of the following workarounds:

#1. re-login using the DOS login

#2. re-map your drive using the DOS map command

I would suggest the second option because the map statement can easily be inserted into a batch file that starts your Advanced Revelation application.
