This has been covered before, but I couldn't find a solution to our specific problem.

We've just deployed (3.61) a full application. In the runtime environment - we can't log into the application from 'some' workstations. We get the 'too many users/application xxx does not exist in the repository' messages. If I copy oengine from the development copy, it works fine. If I copy the oengine from a runtime 3.6 app it works fine. But, the 3.61 runtime gives us this error. It 'seems' that workstations with the older Client32 are ok, the problem is with the Novell Intanetware client - and actually on a Win 3.1 workstation as well.

BTW - we have the 1.14 network driver, we're using the NLM, etc.

Any ideas???

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff,

This seems unlikely to be your situation but we had an OI app that would gives us that error until we figured out that the application starting point had not been defined.

Thanks Don, we do have a starting point defined - and it works on 'some' workstations.

Some additional info to add to what I've already stated - I've already checked the workstations in question for correct frame types, etc.

Any more ideas??

Jeff,

MS Client for Netware or Netware Client 32? Preferred server/NDS tree/etc. set up identically? Any difference in the set of Netware servers attached from different work-stations? Any CD-ROM towers? (Some use a Netware 2.x file system which causes incompatibilies with the current IPX API.)
