Greetings, all. We are in the process of moving our system from a Novell Netware 5 server to a new Netware 6 server. We have created a new server in the tree and have moved most of the data, including the AREV working folder.

My question: is there a way to copy the necessary files (e.g. lhstart and lhstop, etc) from the SYS:SYSTEM directory of the current server to the same directory of the new server. I have only an upgrade diskette for the 5.0 nlm and not the full install disk. Does anyone know exactly which files must be moved? Will such a move work?

We do not normally recommend moving the NLM files over from one Novell server to another. A reinstall is your best chance for success. Contact Vickie at our customer service to arrance for replacement media for your missing disks.
