One of my clients reports the following error is occaisionally received.

Running OI 3.5 on Win 98 workstation with lhipxvxd driver, Novell

3.x server, with NLM running.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mark Glicksman - Glenside, PA

The error message that I have been receiving prior to my workstation

freezing up has been, "Windows. An exception OE has occurred at

0028:C71FAE9C in VxD —. This was called from 0028:C833D360 in VxD —.

It may be possible to continue normally. Press any key to attempt to

continue. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart your computer. You will lose any

unsaved information in all applications. Press any key to continue."

As I mentioned over the phone, after pressing "any key" sometimes things

continue normally while other times my workstation is frozen, or my

commands are subject to 10-15 second delays. When this happens I usually

turn off my computer and reboot.

I need to do more research on this type of an error and as sson as I come up with an answer, it will be posted on the On-Line Discussion. I would also like to know what version of the NLM are you using. You have mentioned about the LHIPXVXD driver, which, I believe is associated with Winframe. So, if you are using Winframe, what version are you currently running?
