I am trying to upgrade our systems from version 3.03 to 3.12. On the version 3.0 upgrade disks I found a change.doc which has instructions on it that I am trying to go by. I am trying to upgrade from 3.03 to 3.1 unsuccessfully. The Report and test are both successful but when I try and install it fails on the Sysknowledge with a Read Error. I

have checked checked the attributes on the Revboot volume it should

be able to Read and write. Does someone know maybe why this is failing?

Ensure the sysknowledge file / volume is attached prior to install. It may be missing to conserve disk. In this case create-table a table of the same name, then attach-table, for installation purposes only.

If the install fails again, check memory, or repeat the 3.12 install until you get a successful outcome.
