Any ideas what this means and how to overcome.

Colin,

A few questions:

1) Are you using the NT Service or the NPP Standalone and what versions of these do you have?

2) Have you created a REVPARAM file, and if so what paramaters have you set it in?

This error occurs when a network file, which is cached on the local workstation is locked by another machine.

John,

We get the same thing occasionally but only in our ARev application. All W95 workstations have the write-behind caching disabled. We're using NPP 1.5.0.0 on Novell 3.11. From what I can tell, you shouldn't change the default setting for CacheFlushLocks in REVPARAM if you're using W95, so I haven't created REVPARAM files. Is this correct?
