Hi there

I am having difficulty setting up the registry entries when using the new OECGI.

My registry entries (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RevSoft\OpenInsight and also HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Revelation Software\OpenInsight 4.1.2\4.1.2) are

CreateFlag: 1

DatabaseName: DATABASE

ProcedureName: RUN_OECGI_REQUEST

QueueName:

ServerName: pcname (as it is running on the local machine)

ShutdownSessions: 0

UserName: USER

UserPassword: PASSWORD

WorkingDirectory: the folder name where OI is installed

The error message I am getting is Server is not available or CGI has no access right. I believe that we do not have to start the gateway program anymore (ie INET_GATEWAY).

It is working when using the OICGI.

Any help would be appreciated. Bunch of thanks!

Dartin,

The Servername, if used, should be the name of the OpenEngine as displayed in the Queue Information section of the OpenEngine window. The Servername should be used if you are calling a pre-existing, named session, otherwise it should be left blank.

Hi Sean

Thanks for the help. Still no luck. I have even deleted the old oicgi.exe located on the cgi-bin folder. I only have the oecgi on cgi-bin folder. One thing I forgot to mention is that we are using the evaluation version of OI4.1.2. I hope that this is nothing to do with this eval version of oecgi.

We are still evaluating whether we will upgrade all our customer systems to OI4.1.2 or not. Currently, we are using OI3.7.4 and oicgi is doing okay.

Any more advice.

Thanks again.

Dartin,

I suspect that you are trying to access a network drive while running under the context of the HTTP service. Check out this link for more information: Using Mapped Drives with IIS.
