In Arev, Fixlh copied fixed records to SYSTEMP. Does OI copy out fixed records when you use FIX_LH. If so, to what file?

As a matter of interest, I seem to have a lot more success using Arev's FIXLH than the OI one. Has anyone had similar experiences or any tips to offer to make the process more reliable?

Check the DUMP_FIX_GARBAGE and DUMP_FIX_TEMP tables - they usually live in your DATAVOL directory unless you've created them elsewhere.

DUMP_FIX_GARBAGE contains all the stuff thrown out during the Fix

DUMP_FIX_TEMP conatins all the good records the system was able to recover.

I've definately found LH fixing and index rebuilding to be more reliable in Arev in certain instances, though i've known an Arev FIX_LH to bring down machines in a big way before…
