I understand that the NTVDM is the windows error, not an AREV 312 error. I have already searched for the solution web and also in the AREV support site.
I have tried to replace the autoexec.nt and config.nt with the fresh one. The NTVDM ERROR still come out.
I think and hope that AREV have the solution for this issue, because this issue become common issue to the AREV users.
I hope I can have a solid solution from AREV to resolved this problem. This NTVDM error corrupted my data and it is so bad for us.
Another question is, did UD have and effect on the NTVDM ERROR? How we know the UD is function in our system.
List below the spec:-
Universal Driver :version 4.6
Arev : AREV 3.12 upgrade from AREV 3.1

If you suspect that data corruption may have occurred and your backups aren't reliable I suggest you to call Revelation Software or an authorized reseller to open a support case.
You can verify the Universal Driver is functioning by checking the Universal Driver Manager program on the server console. It will confirm workstations are connecting to the LinearHash service and receiving proper record locking. You should also check the Windows File and Sharing list of Open Files to ensure stations don't have .LK/.OV files opened directly.
What type of workstation is this?
Do other workstations function correctly?
