Login Problems after upgrading from 2.1 to 2.12 (AREV Specific)

Two Questions;
1. I just upgraded AREV 2.1 to 2.12 and now I cannot login on a user name or a volume name on most volumes. One of my Volumes corrected itself by rebuilding a file (which I didn't catch).
Any suggestions for a fix?
2. The reason I upgraded is because we just bought a second set of AREV 2.12 to put on the other side of a WAN (too slow working over the WAN). I would like to share volumes but not the AREV itself. I need to get an idea as to how to setup the 2nd set of AREV. What files do I need and what is the best way to seperate AREV from the volumes on a network so two seperate NT 4.0 networks can work together over a WAN and share the same files.

I just wanted to add to my question on the login problem. It seems that I cannot update the accounts using the menu command in sysprog. When I try to do this I get an ERROR '4' with CAPTURED and a null field (""). I have had one of my volumes rebuild itself but the others won't. Is there a command I can use to get around the error window and rebuild these individualy?

Do an "ARev INSTALL", and from the install menu UPGRADE ACCOUNT. Then pick ALL ACCOUNTS.
What kind of network are you using? The NLM or NT Service is a practically a MUST on a WAN.

Thanks for the reply Warren. I'm using NT service and it seems that it was installed but did not convert. I beleve it was working on a DOS3.1 and Network 2.12. The system showed NT service in place but the NPP was not working when I did the upgrade.
I think the key to the whole thing is the upgrade command. When I try to go into the install window and do an upgrade all accounts it stops me with an error message 'ERROR 4' stating that the program has stopped with "CAPTURE" below the message.
I wonder if I re-install the 2.12 upgrade this will correct the problem since the NPP 1.5 is now working?

It couldn't hurt. Also, on both 2.12 systems, make sure you install the 2.12 patches.
