Multiple AREV programs under NT Service (Networking Products)

We have two different AREV programs running on our network.
One is our in-house developed customer and document tracking database. The other is Ceridian's integrated HR and payroll software. Can I run both of these programs on one server with one instance of the NT service pack for AREV?
Thanks.

Yes you can.
Both must be AREV 2.03 or higher
Both must use the NPP(All Networks Driver) as the network type.

We tried running them on the same server and Ceridian's payroll software gave me errors. The errors were linear hash errors.
I not sure what to try next. I would really like to get all of our AREV stuff on one server.

What do you mean, Linear Hash error? Could you post specific errors?

Never mind, I figured it out myself. In the future, though, you might try being a little more helpful to decision makers like myself who can insure that AREV never gets used by their company again. I know that I will!

So let me get this right, you ask a question, John Duquette gives you a perfectly reasonable answer which highlights where your problem is likely to be. You respond that whilst you haven't got it configured the way he told you to, you are getting errors. Aaron asks you to elaborate on what those errors are (as there are MANY possible "linear hash errors") and you castigate the gentlemen concerned for not being helpful?
