The Revmedia file in a volume is corrupted, group 0 error. We do not have a good backup of the volume. Is there a way to recreate the Revmedia file for this volume?

There's an article in the AREV knowledgebase on doing just that.

However, if you DUMPLH the REVMEDIA file (if it will dump), then

you can write down the filename/number combination and recreate it

more quickly than RTIs suggestion of using dummy file names and looking thru the file to determine which one it was.

It's only if you've got 100+ files that it really becomes a pain, but only because it's so tedious; the difficulty (which is actually about 0) is the same if it's 1 or 1000 files; but the tedium factor really ramps up fast.

Please write or write and we can use NetMeeting or PcAnywhere and I'll help you out (N/C).
