I'm baaack!

I am on a very steep learning curve here. I am trying to see how I can add a column to a previously created form. I clicked on a box in the tool set and then clicked it within the work area. I found that a unnamed box appeared with cells for multi-valued entry. Upon clicking on that box, I was able to get a edit properties box. In the lower right hand corner of the box I noticed a area that I can associate this column with a file(table) and column. So I clicked on the SET button and was able to specify the table and then went to select the appropriate column. When I was able to make my selection by clicking on the one I wanted, I double clicked and it came back highlighted.

Then when I clicked OK I got an error message "Data type invalid". This application is running in standalone mode. NT 4. Service Pack 5.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Dale

I think I solved the problem.

I had to go into the database manager and specify that it was a data type of VARCHAR since it was null due to the fact that I am accessing an AREV 3.12 table.
