Separator Pages on NT Server Print Jobs (AREV Specific)

We are running Arev on MetaFrame, and the Arev print jobs all begin with "Separator" pages. Does anyone know how to disable this feature? We run NET USE LPTx and SETPRINTER x commands to route the print jobs. The separator page is definitely produced by the NT Server and not Arev. In the NT Server I cannot find any properties screens which make reference to an on/off switch for the Separator. Is it buried in the system registry somewhere?

On the printer property dialogue, first tab, is an option for separator pages. We assume this is set to none?

Many thanks for the fast response. The button labeled "Separator Page" opens a dialog box which contains exactly one prompt and that prompt contains the file name of the separator page. The prompt currently contains a null value. The only other controls in the box are the buttons Browse, Open and Cancel. I do not see any check boxes or radio buttons.
I did see one thread that mentioned the existence of "three .SEP files in the %SystemRoot%\System32 directory". I am thinking that I should rename them.
NT Server is definitely an enigma. I am also trying to stop the Quickdex load errors that the Arev sessions generate on a regular basis on the MetaFrame. It's shaping up to be a fun winter!

I found the source of the banner page. It's a Gateway Services for NetWare (aka GSNW) setting which must be toggled off for every MetaFrame user.
1. Start | Settings | Control Panel.
2. Launch the GSNW configuration option.
3. Uncheck the box "Print Banner".
FYI, GSNW is a Microsoft product. The banners that it generates are identical in appearance to NetWare banners.

I am looking for sites to trial my Arev print management software which, among other things, will solve the separator page problem. The software is simple to install and de-install.
In return for running the trial I will offer you a free copy of the software and possibly the source code as well.
Also, if anyone else is interested in helping me with this, please contact me.
My email address is finsol@ts.co.nz
The software will run with NT and Novell and offers the following.
A major advantage of T_PRINTER is to direct ALL printing from Arev through a single point of control - this ensures future proofing by ensuring any changes required for change of Network software/version, printer hardware, Arev versions etc. can be easily implemented by changing a single point in the code rather than working through all print routines within the Arev application.
The T_PRINTER utility extends Arev?s standard features by offering the following capability:
1) Overcomes the problem for the newer Hewlett Packard (HP4/5) printer models whereby the printer format is lost.
2) Suppresses blank pages between print jobs (this can be a major problem in some instances of print handling).
3) Details of all network servers, associated print queues and attached printer models can be entered into Arev. This enables users to select a queue from a popup resulting in the appropriate CAPTURE or NET USE command being issued and the relevant printer type assigned.
4) Prevention of print jobs corrupting due to multiple users using the same queue - jobs are only released for printing once the whole job is completed, therefore formatting is retained with the print job it is related to e.g. portrait/landscape, font styles etc.
5) Allow for standard formats (LANDSCAPE and PORTRAIT plus the compressed versions of each) to be held for every printer type and therefore able to be used by any program irrespective of which printer is attached. Additional formats can be created for any printer and selected as needed. (i.e. extra wide printer formats, letter formats, colour settings etc.)
6) When a user queue selection is requested, all queues currently set up for that user are determined and these are sorted to the top of the complete list of all queues available for selection purposes.
7) Users are able to query the current printer settings. Details displayed include the current Queue, Printer type, format, printer definition, LPTn value and all current queue settings (up to three).
8) The printer setup is automatically set to the correct values if Arev 'crashes'. With the normal print handling, the printer is reset to 'Printer 1', regardless of what printer has been selected. The enhanced print handling facility will ensure that printer settings are always set to the user selected settings.
9) Enables users to select printers defined as being on another servers.
10) In certain cases, Arev version 3.x causes displayed output to 'wrap' making output difficult to read. T_PRINTER ensures the correct dimensions are specified for terminal output so that reports are correctly 'panned' for viewing.
11) An enhanced LIST function allows the following features.
a) Standard report heading formats and titles.
b) The ability to include the required output format in the LIST statement such as portrait, landscape, compressed portrait and compressed landscape.
c) Allows for the option of letting the user decide on whether output is to be displayed or printed or both.
d) Allows for the option to display the current print settings and gives the option of letting the user select an alternate printer.
e) If output is directed to the printer and no printer has been selected at that point then the printer queue popup is displayed for printer selection.
