Back in July 97 I asked a question about seeing

printer output appear in

LH files and of course this leads to GFEs.

I again am seeing this problem. It just started

today again on various machines using win95 although

it has happened on Dos 5.0 machines

connected to Novell Lans, a single Dos machine running Arev stand alone and of course

using WIN95 MS client and NOvell32 client on Novell lans. All versions of Arev are 2.11.

Since this happens on single use DOs platfiorms all the way through WIN95 clients on Novell

LAN platforms, I can't help but believe it is something in the PDISK routines. It happens

sporadically and of course usually hits different files (even files that are marked RO on the

LAN).

I have followed the suggestions that people gave me last

time: increase file handles to 120

    Checked pdisk routine from version 2.12 (it is

     the same )

Does any one have any more information or experiences with the problem

I had the exact same problem several months ago. There is a NLM call ZEROBFIX.NLM running on your server. This is causing the problem. Remove it and check the Knowledge Base here. This is the solution absolutely. I spent weeks tracking it down.
