Today I'm getting a lot of trouble tickets with reports of FS466 or FS474 messages. I've seen FS466 before, but I don't think I've ever seen FS474 before. What does it mean? What should I be looking for?

I've heard rumors that there is some change to the wan to accomodate VOIP. Do you think that could be related?

When I get a FS474 I can continue. It's unclear to me, though, whether something got lost meanwhile. Also, if I'm getting occasional FS474 messages, I probably get the occasional FS466 as well.

Any suggestions on how to proceed? What should I ask my network people to look for?

FS474 is "Linear Hash Client/Server. Next Packet Error.". My suggestion is to have them run Ethereal, or run it yourself. You'll be able to find out exactly what's happening.
