I just noticed this . No matter what message executes, its title is ignored and MSG is printed in the message's window title.

This is on my local Win95 copy of OI.

Any ideas?

Hey David,

Could you give me a couple of specific occurances? I'm not sure if you mean internal messages or user created ones…etc

Thanks

After a little bit more testing, it looks like it is only the "RESPONSE" type messages that do that. The informational ones have the right title.

Just go to the User Interface builder, and build a Response type message. No matter what you put for title, when the message is run, MSG displays as the window title.

If you now change this message type to Informational or anything else, when the message runs, the right title gets displayed.

Hope that helps Blaise.

P.S. How about the 2 things I called you about last month:

1 . if an edit table is created showing n rows and one of the columns is a multivalued symbolic that returns more than n lines (@vm delimited) , the table gets filled with only the first n lines. What it should do instead is fill the table with all the information in the symbolic and then automatically display a vertical scroll. Right?

2. When a row is deleted from an edit table, and then put back with send_message , if the deleted row is the FIRST row, then the insert does not re-paint the screen, so it actually looks like the row has been deleted. The re-painting is only done on LOSTFOCUS. However any row from 2 and up that is deleted and then put back with send_message(INSERT) re-paints the screen fine.

You were supposed to letme know if these were actual bugs and if they were going to be fixed. Could you please? (By the way, thanks for all the answers so far. This is just a reminder on things that I haven't heard from you on yet)

Thanks

Dave

David,

I have pre-release(3) running on a copy of OI and I am unable to reproduce this behavior. Is there anything else that I should or should not be doing or using?

No. Just creating a simple response message is what does it. Changing the type to anything else makes is display the right title.

Maybe is is just a 3.5 pre 2 bug. When is pre 3 going to be available for download?

David,

We are in the process of getting pre-release(3) ready for posting. I'm not sure when it will take place, but i'm sure it will be soon.

After it's posting, please apply it and let me know what your results are.

Thanks again!

Blaise,

Everything looks OK in pre 3.

Thanks.

P.S. How about my other 2 questions?
