Is it possible to modify the Linear Hash Info form. At present, it's not wide enough to show me the "REV…." filename. I looked in sysprog and didn't see a file with a name like "Linear Hash Info" .

I know that I can do an Xlate into "SYSTABLES", but that's doesn't work unless the file has been previously opened. I know that I might be able to do a List_Volume, but that seems cumbersome.

Any suggestions on would be appreciate. Not an emergency, but would make thing more convenient. In AREV, I could just do a quick DUMP and see everything . I know that modifiying the form has to be a simple change, maybe someone can change form for 3.8 if I can't do it.

Thanks,

Ray Chan

P.S. I'm going to post this on the Work side as well.

Ray,

If the field is showing the path, you could attach the Revmedia and List Revmedia F1 to show the file name.

Ray,

The dialog box you refer to is stored as a Windows resource in the Database Manager (lb.exe) rather than as a native OpenInsight window, so the only way to change it would be to use a tool like Borland's Resource Workshop.

Please email us for further details.

Note: We make no representations as to the legality of this under the existing license - if in doubt always check with your own lawyers however as it is not done to defraud it would not seem to present a real issue.

We will happily make this change available to RevSoft FOC if they would like it.

I found the same problem with LH Info so I wrote a form (which seems) to produce the same information… I could post the code here (if everyone promises not to shoot me down in flames! )

I wouldn't mind seeing your code for future reference.
