We have a customer that does not use NLMs.

Environment:Novel network with win95 and win311 clients.

The following error occurs on a regular basis on all their work stations.

"Link list in table 'XXXX' is broken. Transaction cannot be properly flushed. To correct this problem please rebuild all indexes in the table 'XXXX'.

Would installing NLMs at this late stage help to solve this problem or are there other ways to correct it.

Trying to rebuild the indexes have also not proved helpful

Thank you for your responses.

The easiest way to fix this at this stage is to completely remove the indexes so that there is no ! file, then readd them. There are less drastic methods but they are more complicated.

AREV in a 95 environment is not supported without at least the NPP.

Thank you Andrew , but will installing the NLMs take care of the original problem or do I also have to remove the indexes in question and readd them. Your quick reply is very much appreciated.

You'll still have to readd/remove.
