Indexes Not Building Complete (AREV Specific)

I have a client on Novell 3.12 with 172M free on the server with the NLM version 1.5 and logged in as supervisor. When they rebuild their indexes, it finishes, but the search is not locating all the items, for example, the one indexed field "suppler" it only finds suppliers down to "M" when they have suppliers through to "Z". After speaking to Arev, I brought the file to the office and made my hard drive also 172M free of disk space. It rebuilt complete, then I tried again with 35M of disk space and again it was complete.

sounds like it could be "bombing out" before it is finished building the index. This may be caused by a bad id or bad data in the filed to be indexed.

Try walking through the nodes and see if the index values are actually there. You could have an errant key that is causing the problems.
When you copied the file, did you take the data and dictionary and index or just the data? It could be that the dictionary key length is incorrect. You'll need to ensure that the key field 0, no parts, is defined as the master and is about 5 chars longer than the longest possible full key (including * delimiters if multi-part).
